1st Time Traveller - Outpatient Surgery Clinic HELP

Wait 5 sec.

Hey r/nursing, I got offered a travel contract at an outpatient general surgery clinic. This would be my first travel contract and honestly my first time doing outpatient surgery. When I was screened, I let them know that I had little experience in this but that I have done med/surg, SNF, and have a year and a half of outpatient imaging experience. They said it would be no problem. This contract is a great opportunity for me to make over double I make currently which helps me reach my goal of getting my RN in British Columbia, CA. But with my lack of experience, do you think this is me walking into a death trap so to speak? Any input would be help and I’d be happy to provide anymore information that anyone needs. Thanks!! submitted by /u/jbeauter [link] [comments]
