I lift 4 days a week and built Showdup so my friends and I could post our sessions and see each other train. Honest numbers after 3months: So right now it’s a nice social log for people who already train, not a motivation tool. For motivation all winners have the chance to win t shirts that i designed. This seemed like a hit. My vision is to turn this into a community of people that are willing to show up for themselves consistently. I'm trying to work out how I can bring this to a larger audience. I have a few ideas, like marketing the clothes and then adding the app as an upsell, hosting in-person community events and just Instagram content. But I'm just not able to start and put things out there. Any advice from anyone who has built apps with communities around them on what I should focus on submitted by /u/CuriousPotatoRon [link] [comments]
