Pat McAfee is everywhere right now. The ESPN sports media personality has now landed a voice role in an upcoming animated Disney movie. McAfee has become ESPN’s golden goose and has now landed a Disney roleGettyOn Monday, Disney released a trailer for its upcoming original movie titled Hexed, and according to the press release, the movie is about “an impulsive and unconventional teenage girl named Billie Doe” – who is voiced by Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s wife Hailee Steinfeld. Billie Doe “discovers secret magical abilities which, once unleashed, hurtle her out of suburbia and into a spectacle-filled journey through a vast witch realm called Hexe.”McAfee is slated to voice one of the characters in the animated film. Other names who will take on voice roles alongside the former Indianapolis Colts punter include Wayne Knight, known for his role as Newman on Seinfeld, Kathy Najimy, who was in the 1990s movies Sister Act and Sister Act 2, and Jodie Foster. It has been a hugely busy week for one of ESPN’s marquee talents, who was also announced by the network to be starting in a Super Bowl LXI Field Pass alt-cast next February. According to Front Office Sports, this would look very similar to the popular alt-cast he did during the College Football Playoff which pulled in 2.4 million viewers for the CFP’s Rose Bowl quarterfinal. Furthermore, the $60 million man will bring his alt-cast to Monday Night Football when the ManningCast isn’t airing. There is some speculation that this could potentially serve as an audition for a booth role on Monday Night Football amid the uncertainty surrounding Troy Aikman’s future at the network. The many side quests of McAfeeThe College Football GameDay star, who is also known for dishing out millions of dollars via his kicking contest, and his daily titular talk show, simply cannot be avoided right now. This is because he is also taking on side quests outside of ESPN, and sports as a whole, having recently released his own country rap album – although the reviews have been very mixed. McAfee has been touted as a potential MNF replacement should Aikman not sign a new dealGettyMcAfee also released a country music album – albeit to mixed reviewsGettyFeaturing in Hexed is not novel to McAfee either, as he is also set to play a role asa drill sargeant in Peter Berg’s upcoming film The Mosquito Bowl. The movie is set to hit theaters on October 30, and will release on Netflix a month later on November 25. McAfee has such a taste for acting and Hollywood that his agent Ari Emmanuel, is reportedly trying to land the 39-year-old in the highly anticipated Heat sequel, Heat 2, which is slated to feature Leonardo DiCaptrio, Christian Bale, and Stephen Graham. “I’m trying to get Pat McAfee a role in a Michael Mann movie,” Emanuel told New York Magazine in September.“I’m not going to tell you what part. But he’s incredible in Pete Berg’s movie The Mosquito Bowl, and he’s really good in the Taylor Sheridan show with Stallone, Tulsa King, so I’m trying to get him into this thing.”With McAfee’s recent success outside of sports, it would come as no surprise at all if he were to somehow feature in Heat 2 alongside some of the biggest actors in the world.
