Yeshwanth Chavan, train movement between Whitefield and Garudachar Palya stations was suspended from 6 p.m. to 6.35 p.m. due to the obstruction on the track.The disruption affected commuters travelling on the Purple Line during peak evening hours. BMRCL officials cleared the fallen branch and restored operations shortly after.“Trains are running between Whitefield and Challaghatta as usual,” Mr. Chavan said, confirming that normal metro services had resumed following the brief interruption.The rains brought traffic to a crawl as several roads and underpasses were left flooded.
