President Trump on Tuesday provided an update after his latest physical at Walter Reed Medical Center.Trump, who will turn 80 next month, underwent his third physical at Walter Reed since taking office in January 2025.The physical took a little over 3 hours and details will be released later.“Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. President DJT,” Trump said on Truth Social.Last July, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed reports of President Trump’s swollen ankles and bruises on his hands.Leavitt shared, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency which is a common condition among those who are 70 years old and above.“An echocardiogram was also performed and confirm normal cardiac structure and function. No signs of heart failure, renal impairment or systemic illness were identified,” she said of the President’s swollen legs. She said the President has ” chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.”The hand bruises were explained as “a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy,” which the President does “as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen.”“Laboratory testing included a complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, coagulation profile, D-dimer, B-type natriuretic peptide, and cardiac biomarkers,” Leavitt said last year.“All results were within normal limits. An echocardiogram was also performed and confirmed normal cardiac structure and function, no signs of heart failure, renal impairment, or systemic illness were identified,” she said. “Additionally, recent photos of the President have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand.
