Lower Risk by Entering a Stock SoonerCognizant Technology Solutions Corporation Class ABATS:CTSHMarthaStokesCMT-TechniTraderRisk is something all retail and professional traders need to control at all times. Often a trade that goes against a trader is due to not recognizing risk versus profit potential. The Market is no longer just Wall Street vs Main Street. There are now 14 distinctly different market participant groups. You need to know these groups patterns within the TradingView stock charts. By learning to READ the stock charts with Spatial Pattern Recognition skills you are able to determine who is in control of price at moment or day, and who has been in control of price preceding that candle pattern. By understanding who controls price you are able to analyze the run gain potential up or down. You are able to determine the proper stop loss placement, (never use percentages use support and resistance trends). If the appropriate stop loss creates a risk that is too high for your risk tolerance, then DO NOT TRADE that stock. The goal of your trading must always be first and foremost, consistent high profits with minimal loss. Tightening a stop loss to lower risk actually increases risk. The primary market participant group you need to trade with is the Professional Independent traders, Professional Trading Companies, Sell Side Floor traders and buy side floor traders. When you trade with these groups, your profit will increase and your losses will be far lower than if you were trading the crowd or herd mentality.
