I'm still trying to understand how a trip to the UK would cost a girl scout $6k to go. I'm in the US but that's still the equivalent of about $4300 US. I've made several trips to the UK in the past few years (most recently this year) that cost around that much with me flying Delta Premium Select and staying in 5-star hotels (mid-level rooms) for several nights. You know they would be flying and lodging as cheaply as possible. Like is this for some intensive residential program/educational course to justify that price or just a glorified field trip...or is mom lying about the expense to get more money? Or is that how much it costs to have a kid in those programs nowadays? Someone please fill me in!
