The exam was held offline for a duration of two and a half hours. The question paper included four sections – physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. The total score on the exam was 150 marks, there was no negative marking for incorrect responses. According to information shared by the Commissioner, the results will be announced at 11.30 am from the SBTET secretary’s office at SV Bhavan in Masab Tank, Hyderabad.Students interested in enrolling in the diploma programs in engineering, non-engineering, and technology offered by different Telangana colleges appeared for the TS Polycet 2026 test.Those who pass the exam will become eligible to apply for counseling in the Telangana Polytechnic Colleges admissions process. The colleges include polytechnics operating within private engineering institutions as well as Government, Aided, and Unaided polytechnics. As many as 98,800 candidates had taken the 2025 exams.
