The Centre has ordered the Delhi Gymkhana Club to vacate its Lutyens' Delhi premises by June 5. The 27.3-acre plot is needed for strengthening defence infrastructure and public security. The Land & Development Office issued the order, citing the lease deed's clause for re-entry. The club plans to challenge the decision.
