Australian Parliamentary Group for Tibet Congratulates Sikyong Penpa Tsering on Re-election, Reaffirms His Holiness’ Reincarnation Must Remain Free from Chinese Government InterferenceCanberra: The All-Party Australian Parliamentary Group for Tibet (AAPGT) has extended its congratulations to Sikyong Penpa Tsering on his re-election as Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration.On behalf of the Group, co-chairs Susan Templeman MP (Labor Party), Senator Dean Smith (Liberal Party), and Senator Barbara Pocock (Australian Greens) have today written to Sikyong Penpa Tsering to convey their best wishes and reaffirm their continued support for the Tibetan cause.“Your re-election with a decisive mandate reflects the confidence and trust the Tibetan people have placed in your leadership.
