Triplets Ghetto Kids manager Dauda Kavuma has broken his silence on why he finds it difficult to promote Ugandan music despite his strong passion for supporting local artists.Kavuma explained that many Ugandan musicians are not supportive of content creators who help promote their music, even when the promotion is done free of charge. ghetto kids meet lord cameron march 2024According to him, artists rarely comment on, share, or even like the content created for them.He further alleged that some artists quickly bury the promotional challenges by posting other content shortly after creators upload videos promoting their songs.Kavuma noted that such behavior discourages creators from working with Ugandan artists, something he says is completely different when dealing with international musicians.We love to promote Ugandan music, but the challenge we face is that when you can do it for a Ugandan artist without a single payment, they fail to comment, share, or even like the post.Sometimes when you’re done with the challenge, they quickly add other posts on top of it.
