A guest visiting Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom was arrested this week after authorities say he secretly recorded underneath a woman’s skirt while waiting in line for TRON Lightcycle / Run, one of the resort’s most recent headline attractions.Credit: Inside the MagicAccording to an arrest affidavit obtained by ClickOrlando, 21-year-old Orlando resident Ryan Boufakeer was taken into custody Tuesday evening and charged with felony video voyeurism following the alleged incident inside Tomorrowland. The case reportedly unfolded between 7:05 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. while guests were moving through the queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run, the high-speed indoor coaster inspired by Disney’s TRON franchise. The attraction has become one of Magic Kingdom’s most in-demand experiences since opening in 2023, frequently drawing extended wait times and dense queue conditions.Investigators say the woman involved noticed unusual movement behind her while standing in line. According to the affidavit, she turned around and allegedly saw Boufakeer “on his hands and knees” with “a black iPhone angled upward” beneath her skirt.Credit: DisneyThe woman immediately confronted him in the queue area and demanded that any footage be erased. According to the report, Boufakeer then showed her a deleted video on his phone, though the victim reportedly told deputies she could not confirm whether it was the same recording taken moments earlier.Disney security personnel later located a man matching the description provided by the victim elsewhere inside the park. Boufakeer was then escorted to a security office before Orange County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene. After being read his Miranda rights, investigators say Boufakeer admitted to recording while crouched near the queue area. The affidavit states he told deputies he had positioned himself near an outlet to charge his phone while serving as a chaperone for students from South Creek Chorus visiting the park.Credit: DisneyAuthorities said Boufakeer described the recording as lasting “approximately 15 seconds.” The affidavit further alleges that he admitted he intended to keep the footage “for sexual gratification.”Deputies also questioned whether additional inappropriate videos or photographs existed on his device. According to the report, Boufakeer declined to answer additional questions and requested an attorney. While incidents of this nature remain rare inside Disney parks, the arrest once again places attention on guest safety and surveillance procedures at major theme park destinations. Walt Disney World maintains extensive security operations across its property, including uniformed security teams, undercover personnel, and widespread camera coverage throughout its parks and resorts.Credit: DisneyTRON Lightcycle / Run, where the alleged incident occurred, is among the most technologically advanced attractions at Magic Kingdom. Located in Tomorrowland near Space Mountain, the coaster reaches speeds approaching 60 mph and uses motorcycle-style ride vehicles themed to the digital world first introduced in Disney’s 1982 film TRON and later expanded in 2010’s TRON: Legacy and 2025’s Tron: Ares. The attraction continues to draw heavy crowds daily, particularly during evening hours when Tomorrowland’s illuminated canopy transforms the ride area into one of the park’s most visually striking environments.Boufakeer was booked into the Orange County Jail on the felony charge. As of publication, Disney had not publicly commented on the arrest.Inside the Magic will continue to update this developing story. The post Horrendous 15-Second Video Gets School Chaperone Arrested at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom appeared first on Inside the Magic.
