He ranked in the top three Inter players for interceptions (23), clearances (80) and aerial duels won (52) despite missing time due to shin and ankle injuries, also only being dribbled past by an opponent on 10 occasions.The 27-year-old has been linked with Barcelona for several seasons, though attacking reinforcements appear to be the Blaugrana's main focus at present as they close in on the signing of Anthony Gordon and target a permanent move for Marcus Rashford. Bastoni is under contract at San Siro until June 2028, and Marotta expects him to honour that deal.Asked if Bastoni was expected to stay by DAZN, Marotta said: "I think so.
