Since 2019, ALGO/USD has been moving inside a large descending macro channel. Every major cycle attempt has been rejected below the upper side of that structure, while the lower boundary has repeatedly acted as the historical support / accumulation zone. That is the important part of this chart. The market has already punished ALGO brutally. The old narrative is gone, attention is weak, and most people no longer take the chart seriously. But structurally, price is still reacting around the same lower channel area where previous important lows formed. This does not mean confirmation. It means location. The current region is the “prove it” zone. If the lower boundary continues to hold, the first sign of repair would be a sustained recovery away from the floor. After that, the next major area to watch is the dotted midline resistance, which has acted as the internal ceiling of the structure. A reclaim of that zone would be the first real sign that ALGO is no longer only bouncing from support, but trying to rebuild market structure. The larger breakout only comes later. For the macro structure to change completely, ALGO would eventually need to reclaim the upper descending resistance of the channel. Until that happens, the asset remains inside a long-term downtrend / compression structure. But ignored charts should not be dismissed just because they are ugly. There is a major difference between a dead chart and a hated chart. A dead chart keeps losing structure. A hated chart can still compress, hold the floor, rebuild, and surprise the crowd later. Right now, ALGO is still in the second category only if the lower channel continues to hold. The map is simple: Lower boundary holds → structure remains alive. Midline reclaim → first serious repair signal. Upper channel breakout → macro structure changes. Lower boundary failure → thesis weakens. ALGO is still not confirmed. But it is back near the floor of a multi-year structure. That is where forgotten charts should be watched carefully.
