Samsung Gallery has offered cloud backup to Microsoft OneDrive since 2019. It was first confirmed last year that support for this integration would end in 2026. Microsoft recently confirmed that Samsung Gallery OneDrive sync support will end on September 30, 2026.If you were counting on having a few months to get it all sorted out before then, you might want to check again, as Samsung appears to be quietly removing the option to sync Gallery with OneDrive for some users ahead of the deadline. Your backed up content will remain accessible in the OneDrive appReports indicate that the feature can no longer be enabled in the newer versions of the Samsung Gallery app. Those who never used this feature before can't enable it now, even though the integration formally ends in September. Those who have used this integration previously can continue to do so. As long as you had the option enabled, you can continue to sync images and videos from Samsung Gallery to Microsoft OneDrive until the deadline. This integration was rather useful as it eliminated the need to download the OneDrive app separately. You can still backup your images and videos to Microsoft's cloud storage service, but you'll need to download the app first. Once you install it, simply adjust the camera roll settings by selecting your Microsoft account from the Camera backup menu.Do note that even when the integration formally ends on September 30, 2026, all of the content that you've backed up won't be deleted from OneDrive. You'll still be able to access it all through the OneDrive app, but it won't appear in Samsung Gallery unless the originals are saved in your local storage.
