Tottenham Hotspur fans have a World Cup to look forward to this summer, but pre-season may roll around sooner than expected. Many Tottenham Hotspur fans will be happy that the curtains have fallen on the 2025-26 season, given how disastrously it went.Spurs reached a new low as many supporters watched their side battle relegation for the first time since the 1976-77 season, when Tottenham were last relegated. This time, though, the outcome was very different for Tottenham, who beat the drop, confirmed their Premier League status and sent West Ham United down instead.Credit: @harryphoto.kr / InstagramTottenham fixtures confirmed for pre-season returnWith the season now over, focus will turn towards improvement after an abysmal campaign before the 2026-27 season kicks off. This is a World Cup year, meaning it will be a little while before Spurs kick a ball again. The tournament is set to be played across three countries and will conclude on 19 July, when the final is scheduled. After that, Spurs will return to action later in July, seven days after the World Cup final, with a pre-season fixture in Australia, the destination of Tottenham’s next season’s tour.
