Oh it looked super close together on Maps. 91st looked like it was basically in Midtown. But you lived there so imma take your word for it, you’d know better than me. Either way though, this person is arguably in the most expensive area of the most expensive borough in NYC. I took the subway once from Soho, I meant to go to the zoo and wasn’t paying attention. Accidentally ended up getting off just northwest of Central Park instead. Didn’t feel like getting back on the subway so I just decided to walk, but I crossed over to the eastside and walked down from that way. I’d never walked the length of central park like that before (and never would again btw that’s like a 2 hour journey; do not recommend) and I felt poor just walking down the entirety of the eastside of the park. That whole entire area is like… WEALTHY wealthy. I mean you have to be disgustingly rich to live over there. $300 is probably pennies to this person 😭
