That, and a top of the line piece of equipment would be wasted on a kid in my opinion. He wouldn't know what even half of the settings mean. Thousand dollar+ piece of equipment being used to just take pictures of "beautiful natures" outside a bedroom window. I supposed he could eventually grow into the camera, if he takes it seriously (I doubt it, seems like it's something she's excited about herself), but talk about starting in the deep end. Sheesh.
