There is also a growing perception that some of them are giving up their independent voice and avoiding speaking truth to power. Therefore, the issues raised by the party, such as unemployment, examination irregularities, and ministerial accountability, have clearly struck a chord. In our democratic system, parties in power often appear unwilling to listen to criticism or feedback unless it takes the form of a massive public protest, and this continues for five long years.V.
