I know the type, my grandmother was head chef at a private golf club that catered to Chicago's money set. I grew up in her kitchen(its how I ended up doing catering 😉). As a kid, I remember the thing that stuck out to me the most was no prices on the menu-it didn't matter if it was $40 or $100 or $500, it was all the same to them...while my own mother would walk out of a restaurant after we were seated because the prices were too high by a couple bucks 🤣 Just different worlds!
