It's a consumption-based and performative way to live. It sounds exhausting. I used to use conventional social media but didn't like the amount of time I spent mindlessly scrolling and feeling obligated to interact with folks' posts. Good riddance. I'll just be lame under the radar and keep my few goings-on off Facebook.
