The Walt Disney World Resort guest filmed the damage and shared the exact location, as well as the time the video was taken (around 3:50 p.m.), in the hopes that the car’s owner would see it and get more information about the driver who damaged their vehicle. @disneywvanessa at hollywood studios 3:50 pm #disney #disneyworld #hollywoodstudios #disneyparks ♬ original sound – vanessa °o° “Oh my god, you guys,” the Disney Park guest said in the video. “That is crazy. No note or anything.”The front bumper of the Mercedes-Benz sedan was nearly torn off, the headlights were damaged, and pieces of the car’s front end were scattered across the ground in front of the vehicle. As the TikToker said, the driver who damaged the car left no note with contact or insurance information, making this a hit-and-run.Credit: Christian Lambert, UnsplashWalt Disney World Resort rarely issues public statements regarding incidents like these on its property, and this situation was no different. However, the TikToker’s video went viral, and many current and former Disney cast members reassured viewers that security cameras positioned around the theme park parking lots would have captured the hit-and-run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 2.“Ex security at Disney as a cast member here – Everything is time stamped when coming in and out take that as you will,” @orlando_travel_co.Credit: Inside the MagicHowever, Central Florida Disney Park guests who find themselves in a similar situation are urged to file a police report, as some hit-and-run victims report that Walt Disney World Resort will not release security footage unless law enforcement requests it.“Yall won’t release footage unless a police report is filed and the police request the footage,” @paigegregory62 replied. “Yall won’t just give it to us. My husband’s car was involved in a hit and run coming out of the costuming building and yall refused to help us.”What is your favorite way to travel to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks?
