Ramsundar Reddy and Joint Collector S. Sedhu Madhavan urged residents to extend their support to ensure the better future for thousands of people. They said that the government would ensure a decent compensation for them under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act-2013.“A senior official said that the farmers who would surrender their lands would get decent financial package, houses, jobs for eligible family members. He hoped that the farmers would come forward very soon to cooperate with the government which had ensured the best package for the farmers who had given lands for the construction of the international airport at Bhogapuram of Vizianagaram district.Published - May 25, 2026 08:03 pm ISTSign in to unlock member-only benefits!Access 10 free stories every monthSave stories to read laterAccess to comment on every storySign-up/manage your newsletter subscriptions with a single clickGet notified by email for early access to discounts & offers on our products${ ind + 1 } ${ device }Last active - ${ la }
