A fire was reported in Buġibba yesterday evening at around 9:45pm after an electric meter caught fire inside the common area of an apartment block.The incident reportedly caused the building’s common area to fill with smoke, prompting the evacuation of eight residents along with one dog and one cat.Emergency responders assisted those inside the block while the fire was brought under control.No injuries were reported during the incident.
