Bhopal Police is seeking a seven-day remand for Samarth Singh, the prime accused in his wife Twisha Sharma's death. Singh was taken into custody from Jabalpur after attempting to surrender. Notices were also served to his mother, a former judge, who denies receiving them. Efforts are underway to arrange a second autopsy by AIIMS Delhi.
