The Proper Wave Count for HIMSHims & Hers Health, Inc. Class ABATS:HIMSontempHere's a tough lesson I learned trading HIMS. I miscounted the waves and bought in too early because I thought wave C was complete. Turns out it was still going down. How did this happen? There were many "fake" waves denoted by the rounded corners. The orange circle shows these rounded corners and how they can throw you off. Even though they are ripping or dipping they are still part of the same preceding wave and not a break of the wave. Wave breaks are denoted by sharp corners, not rounded ones. The blue line indicates the proper wave count. As you can see, wave C has finished and now an impulse wave is going. When you count waves, watch out for the rounded corner traps. They can throw you off if you're not careful.
