A bus driver was allegedly spat at, threatened and attacked by a passenger during a heated incident onboard a route 91 bus in Fgura.Footage shared online appears to show the passenger arguing with the driver after allegedly refusing to pay for a ticket and continuing to drink beer onboard.According to the person who posted the video, the driver refused to continue the journey unless the passenger paid his fare and got rid of the alcohol.The bus remained stationary while the passenger shouted at the driver and continued drinking from a beer can.At one point, the driver appears to call the police and open the rear doors to allow other passengers to leave safely.The situation then escalated further, with the passenger allegedly moving aggressively towards the driver, appearing to swing in his direction before later spitting at him and throwing beer as he exited the bus.As reported by Times of Malta, Malta Public Transport confirmed it is investigating the incident.The company strongly condemned the behaviour and said it is supporting the driver involved while cooperating with authorities.What would you have done in this situation?Video: Expats Malta•
