She was married to Rajesh Aaradhya in Mysuru on May 11, 2023..Rajesh Aaradhya is serving as a police constable at the HAL Police Station.According to the complaint filed by Lakshmi Priya’s family, she was allegedly subjected to continuous mental and physical harassment by her husband Aaradhya and his parents, Palaksharadhya and Bhagyamma.The complainant alleged that the accused repeatedly pressured and tortured Lakshmi Priya, causing severe emotional distress. The police said Priya had recently given birth to a baby girl and had stayed at her parental home for nearly six months post delivery.On Friday at around 2.31 p.m., Priya reportedly sent her mobile phone password to her younger sister Jayashree through WhatsApp.Soon after, family members attempted to contact her, but she allegedly did not respond to their calls.When the complainant later contacted Aaradhya, he informed them that Priya had died.The investigators suspect that an argument between the couple on the day of the incident may have driven the victim to take the extreme step.
