It's begging, but where's the choosing? He's realized the smaller drone will likely face the same issues, and if he wants to continue his passion he's gonna have to upgrade or face the same fate. I've flown a couple Drones, a few DJI models included, and typically the smaller ones don't cope with wind very well. The newer ones have a ton of computing that compensate for higher winds: Even the older, but larger model Mavic 1 would sit stock still in a breeze due to their software. Also the video quality on the mini is 1080p from memory while all the other DJi models are shooting 4k on way better sensors, so the video quality is night and day. He's crowdfunding his hobby, which is is odd, and honestly a bit cringe but I fail to see the choosing. He's not asking for a replacement, he's decided the forward requires an upgrade and he's begging for that.
