Momentum General Secretary and electoral candidate Mark Philip Camilleri Gambin has claimed that campaign banners belonging to him were stolen from Marsaskala in what he described as a targeted act.According to Momentum, the banners were removed from the third electoral district, one of the districts Camilleri Gambin is contesting, while banners belonging to other political parties in the same area were reportedly left untouched. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)The party pointed towards Camilleri Gambin’s recent criticism of the proposed Marsaskala promenade project, where he has repeatedly called for more transparency and information to be provided to residents.A police report was filed regarding the theft of the campaign material.Reacting to the incident, Camilleri Gambin said the act would not stop him from continuing to speak out.“If someone believes that removing a few banners will silence our questions about the Marsaskala promenade project, they are very much mistaken,” he said.Momentum also urged anyone with information about the incident to contact authorities.•
