But he and a friend managed to find a pair before the game and that was just the start of their incredible night in Europe.Following Villa’s convincing win to claim their first major trophy in 30 years, Dawley somehow joined their after-party.The supporter managed to celebrate alongside the players and even the future King of England, Prince William.He took pictures with Villa’s stars, royalty and the Europa League trophy after gatecrashing the team’s celebrations.“It was just a case of being in the right place at the right time,” Dawley explained on the Weekend Sports Breakfast.“It was mingling with players’ family, having a bit of a chat, a bit of charm and chat…and then I ended up just in this after party, free glass of white wine on the way in.”He added: “Next minute, I swear to God this is true, I was shuffling through the dancefloor…I had Youri Tielemans to my right, Prince William to my left and Tyron Mings in middle centre.“I was like, excuse me lads, I couldn’t squeeze through, could I?“They were dancing, Prince William’s got a little bit in the locker…he’s not stiff, he’s got a boogie in him!”Dawley and his pal took photos with the players and Prince WilliamInstagram @dawleycbAnd he reserved special praise for one Aston Villa player in particular.He added: “Harvey Elliott as well, by the way, he was. he was fantastic.He was he was he. I’ve got to place that on record.“He was a really, really, really good guy. And everyone had a lot of time for us as well.“We didn’t bother anyone. We got four or five photos and that was it and just enjoyed our night. But Harvey Elliott was an absolute class act.”How did he do it?
