He informed police that after completing the daily rituals on the evening of Tuesday (May 26, 2026), he locked the temple and returned home.On the following morning at around 5 a.m., the priest, along with temple watchman Raju Mende, arrived at the temple and found that the locks of the main entrance doors had been broken.Upon entering the premises, they discovered that a small hundi kept inside the temple was missing. During a search of the surroundings, the damaged hundi was later found abandoned, broken and empty near the temple mandapam.
