Aga Khan Studs' Calandagan (Gleneagles) and Daryz (Sea The Stars) are both on course for British raids, according to trainer Francis-Henri Graffard.Runner-up in the G1 Coronation Cup in 2025, the former has rattled off five Group 1 wins in a row since that defeat and is primed for another attempt at the Epsom contest.Graffard said, “They are both in very good shape and I could not be happier with them.“Calandagan has been trained for Epsom and hopefully the ground will not get too soft. He looks well and I feel he wants to go back to work.“He's ready and he wants to go back to the races, and everything has gone very smoothly with him.”The aim for 2025 G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe hero Daryz is the G1 Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot next month. He landed both the G1 Prix Ganay and the G1 Prix Aga Khan IV (formerly the Prix Ispahan) this season so far.“Daryz has come out of his race at ParisLongchamp really well and I'm very happy he has shown this incredible turn of foot this season,” continued Graffard.“They are very different in the way they move and the way they accelerate is different too, but Daryz has been incredible and the Prince of Wales's Stakes will be a very tough race, but I know I have a very good horse to try to win this race with.“Fingers crossed everything goes well between now and Ascot.”The post Aga Khan Duo Primed For British Targets appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
