Hospital booked for medical negligence after 55-year-old man dies post-gallstone surgery in Kukatpally - The HinduPublished - May 28, 2026 08:28 pm IST - HYDERABADA private hospital in Kukatpally has been booked following allegations of medical negligence in the death of a 55-year-old man after gallstone surgery.The deceased, identified as Ummalla Mallayya, a resident of Ramayyapalli village in Peddapalli district, was admitted to Ananya Hospital in Kukatpally on May 26 for treatment of gallstone.According to the police, Mallayya underwent surgery at the hospital but later developed severe abdominal pain.
