I think they mean what they’re expecting of the potential roommate/nanny can be reduced (like maybe they don’t have to do the laundry). But holy crackers. If they’re a grad student themselves (unless they love kids) this is not going to work out for anyone. The likely person OP is going to attract is someone sketchy. And why would they want to expose their kid to that..?
