Titled “Manifesting Marilyn: The Making of an Icon,” the installation got its grand debut in New York City amid a starry guest list headlined by Chloë Sevigny. The display encompasses the inner life of Monroe, presented through six distinct spaces: the headline room, Marilyn’s office, the library, the vanity, the screen experience, and the new beginnings hall.
