Plus, it’s 2026, if you’re asking for sensory plushies the person you’re asking is going to immediately know that you have autism- it goes without saying There are a lot of autistic people in the stuffed animal community, so many that I’m very careful on not picking up any rough textured stuffed animals, and pick up sensory plushies when I do happen to find them- obv he wouldn’t know that, but I’m hyper aware of the sensory thing. Some of the ppl I’ve sold plushies too have also mentioned sensory issues but not the autism, so I know it’s not just a “thing”- if that makes sense My ex boyfriend had it and didn’t like anything with foam or anything that felt super rough, he’d literally silently scream and then throw it if he had to touch it 🤣🤣 so he helped me know what not to pick up Plus, not knowing peoples work? Having autism also isn’t an excuse for that, unless extremely low functioning- and based on his message/profile, he seems to function just fine.
