The searches are part of an ongoing probe into allegations that he amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.Bhujanga Rao, who served as Assistant Commissioner of Police, was suspended by the State government after his name surfaced in the phone tapping case, which has led to investigations into the unauthorised surveillance of political leaders, businesspersons and others during the previous administration.
