Kham Kathok Tibetan Settlement Organises Juice Distribution at Sataun Bazaar in Commemoration of His Holiness’s Birthday and the Year of CompassionSataun: As part of the Ghoton Programme commemorating the 90th birth anniversary of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama as Year of Compassion, Kham Kathok Tibetan Settlement organised a large-scale juice distribution campaign for the general public.With the aim of strengthening the bond between the Indian and Tibetan communities in Sataun Village and providing relief from the intense summer heat, members of the Kham Kathok Ghoton Committee and settlement volunteers visited various parts of the village to distribute refreshing beverages in observance of the Year of Compassion.The main distribution event was held at the local bus stand at 3:00 PM, where juices were offered to travelers, commuters, and passersby. A total of 4,020 juice drinks were distributed, including 1,200 bottles of Maaza, 900 bottles of Nimbu Pani and Pulpy Orange, 1,200 bottles of Appy Fizz, and 720 bottles of Jeera Juice.The programme was successfully concluded through the dedicated efforts of the Ghoton Committee members and volunteers.
