We are now just days away from the 2026 World Cup. As such, there are plenty of international friendlies taking place over the next week or so.Not only are Norway, Turkey and Austria playing warm-up matches, but there is action from the Brazilian Serie A also.We have a trio of selections which make up our best bets of the day.TREBLE YOUR RETURNS + GET £20 IN FREE BETSBet of the day – Cruzeiro vs Fluminense – Both teams to score @ 5/6Despite plenty of international action, our bet of the day focuses on the clash between Cruzeiro and Fluminense in Brazil. The home side sit ninth in the league standings, trailing their opponents by seven points ahead of this clash.Only four teams have scored more than Cruzeiro this season, while Fluminense’s tally of 27 league goals ranks as the third-best attacking record in Serie A.So far this term, 11 of Cruzeiro’s 17 league games have featured both teams scoring, while this bet would have landed in 12 of Fluminense’s matches during the same period. As such, backing both teams to score in this clash is our bet of the day.Bet Builder – Norway to win and over 2.5 goals @ 7/4Given the manner of qualification combined with a squad filled with generational talent, it is no wonder Norway are being hyped as one of the dark horses ahead of the World Cup.The Norwegians take on fellow qualifiers Sweden in a friendly on Monday evening and it could be one of the more entertaining matches to watch.Norway failed to win any of their matches in the previous international break, but with the tournament right around the corner, expect a solid showing. Sweden last defeated their neighbors in 2013 and while they will be buoyed at securing qualification for the World Cup, Norway should be just too strong.Three of their previous four games has featured three of more goals, while there have been three or more goals scored in five of Norway’s last seven games.Acca – Austria, Montenegro and Turkey -1 to win treble @ 4/1Austria will be playing in their first World Cup since 1998 and a clash against Tunisia is the last match before heading to North America. The Austrians have won their previous two games against South Korea and Ghana, certainly justifying the hype that they might be a dark horse this summer.A quarter-final appearance at Euro 2024 was promising and a repeat of that across the Atlantic will be the goal.Montenegro won’t be at the World Cup, but they face a Bulgaria side who have won only three of their last 13 games. Two of those victories came against Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. There won’t be much in that game, but Montenegro should come away with a victory.Leg three of this treble features Turkey, who take on North Macedonia. There is no doubt Turkey are overwhelming favourites, so backing them to win by two or more goals offers better value.Turkey won three of their six World Cup qualifiers by two or more goals and they come into this game on the back of successive wins over Kosovo and Romania to seal a place in North America. This is their penultimate match before the tournament and their last at home, so expect a dominant performance.TREBLE YOUR RETURNS + GET £20 IN FREE BETSOdds correct at time of publish and subject to change.18+ New Customers only.
