Thunderstorm forecast in 28 districts today - The HinduUpdated - June 01, 2026 06:59 pm IST - HYDERABADAccording to the IMD’s latest bulletin, Hyderabad and its surroundings for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. | Photo Credit: India Meteorological DepartmentThe India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast in 28 Telangana districts for Tuesday (June 2).According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.Hyderabad and its surroundings for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 39C and 29C respectively,” the bulletin said.Meanwhile, maximum temperatures seem to be easing across Telangana as maximum temperatures crossed the 45C mark only in one district, according to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS).
