Heavy rainfall is expected in over 15 districts across western and southern Tamil Nadu for the next three days. Meanwhile, Chennai and north coastal areas will experience severe heat and humidity. The India Meteorological Department has issued warnings for both scenarios. Isolated places in western and southern districts are likely to receive significant rain until June 7.
