I’m 20 years old and I’m looking for advice because I feel like I’m running out of answers. All of this started after I had an bortion and an IUD inserted on the same day. Ever since then, I’ve had severe lower abdominal and pelvic pain. The pain is usually worse on my right side, but it can happen on both sides. Sometimes it radiates down my leg. I’ve gone to the ER multiple times, had tests done, and they keep telling me they can’t find anything. They’ve checked my IUD and said it looks fine. I also have heavy bleeding and have been dealing with bleeding on and off for weeks at a time. The pain can be so intense that it affects my daily life, and honestly, I feel like I’m suffering every day. I’m exhausted from being in pain and not getting answers. My doctor recently told me that I should talk to an OB-GYN about possible endometriosis, and I’m wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar. Has anyone had symptoms like this and ended up being diagnosed with endometriosis? Did your scans and ER visits come back normal even though you were in severe pain?
