I lived in rural Western Australia and there are so many people looking for 'au pairs' but not wanting to actually pay them. Usually it's room and board, plus 'Pocket money' so I was paying $200 a week for 20hours of care, and the au pair had a 2 bed grannyflat to herself with meal, utilities etc covered. I also paid for her fuel, as she would drive the kids to extra curriculars once a week, in town.
