Yeah tbh it was very bad planning and entitlement on her part. The way she came off about it was very wrong too. She tried to play it off like it was OPs fault for suggesting to help and their responsibility. Esp when they’re just coworkers. I think any sane person who made the unfortunate mistake of not planning well could’ve/would’ve owned it. It would’ve been better to go to OP and say “hey I’m sorry I didn’t realize I got so much, I wouldn’t be able to carry it. If I give you some cash, would you mind dropping me off to my house? Next time, I’ll plan better and bring my car or get less!” 😅 People often forget how far good manners and self reflection will take you in life.
