Disney World has been moving fast lately. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets opened. Cool Kids’ Summer kicked off. Bluey’s Wild World arrived at Animal Kingdom with its own food and beverage offerings, and a Muppets-themed snack stand materialized alongside the new attraction. It has been a genuinely big stretch for the parks, and the energy that comes with a wave of new experiences tends to ripple outward into the restaurants and quick service spots in ways that are easy to miss if you are not watching closely.Credit: DisneyThis past week that ripple hit the menus. Across the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, a notable number of additions, removals, and recipe changes landed at the same time, covering everything from a new Churro Shake at Magic Kingdom to a full dessert overhaul at Port Orleans. If you have a Disney World trip coming up and food is part of how you plan your days, which it absolutely should be, there is a lot worth knowing before you arrive.We went through every location that saw changes and pulled out what matters most, per Disney Food Blog. Magic KingdomAuntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies got a substantial shake menu refresh. The Asteroid Shake is gone. In its place are four new options: the Space Ranger Float, which is a DOLE Whip Lime and Vanilla Soft-serve Swirl with Sprite, Green Apple Pearls, Sprinkles, and a Chocolate Piece for $7.49; the Zurg Overload Shake, a Vanilla Shake with Cherry Coating, Marshmallow Whipped Cream, Sprinkles, and a Chocolate Piece for $9.29; the Cherry Limeade Float with DOLE Whip Lime, Sprite, Grenadine, and a Cherry for $6.79; and the Churro Shake, a Vanilla Shake topped with Whipped Cream, Salted Caramel Sauce, and Churro Pieces for $9.29.The dessert menu also changed. The Salted Caramel Cold Brew Float, Cold Brew Float, and Brownie Sundae are all gone. The replacement is a Chocolate-Salted Caramel Cold Brew Float featuring Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee with Chocolate Soft-serve and Salted Caramel Sauce for $7.19.Over at Prince Eric’s Village Market, the Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry Slushy has been removed from the beverage menu.EPCOTThe change at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a removal on the plant-based side of the Princess Storybook Dining menu. The Gulrøtter og Grønne Bønner, the Carrots with Green Beans dish, is no longer listed.Disney’s Animal KingdomTwo notable updates here. Eight Spoon Cafe is now serving Bluey’s Berry Lemonade, a Frozen Minute Maid Lemonade blended with Blueberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, and Raspberry flavors for $6.79. It is a direct tie-in to Bluey’s Wild World and exactly the kind of limited-time beverage worth grabbing while the event is running.At Isle of Java, the Mickey-shaped Pretzel is gone and has been replaced with something more involved: Pretzel’s Pretzels, a plate of Soft Mini Pretzels with Homemade Cheese Sauce and Blueberry-Mustard Sauce for $15.99. The Island Sunrise cocktail has also been removed from the alcoholic beverages list.Fort Wilderness and Wilderness LodgeThe Chuck Wagon at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort has expanded its menu meaningfully. The basic All-Beef Hot Dog is out. In its place are an All-Beef Chili-Cheese Hot Dog served with Chips for $13.49, a Pulled Pork Sandwich with 10-hour Smoked Pulled Pork, Barbecue Sauce, and Creamy Slaw served with Chips for $11.99, Pulled Pork Loaded Chips with Cheese Sauce and Jalapeños for $9.49, a PB&J Uncrustable served with Grapes and Chips for $7.29, and a plant-based Pickle-in-a-Pouch for $2.29.Trail’s End Restaurant, also at Fort Wilderness, has a longer list of updates. The Brisket Eggs Benedict is gone from breakfast, replaced by Eggs Benedict Brisket Hash with House-smoked Brisket, Shredded Potatoes, Peppers, Onions, and Brown Butter Hollandaise for $12.29. Two smoked chicken options have been added: a full Smoked Chicken at eight pieces served with Cornbread and two one-pound sides for $28.99, and a Smoked Half Chicken Meal with Cornbread, Coleslaw, and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy for $14.79.The bakery at Trail’s End gained three new items: Jalapeño Cornbread for $7.49, a Black Forest Cupcake for $6.99, and a Chocolate-Hazelnut Bear Claw, a Puff Pastry filled with Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, topped with Toasted Almonds and Dark Chocolate and Vanilla Icing for $5.79. The Mickey S’more Brownie also received a recipe update with a significantly more elaborate description, now featuring Dark Chocolate Crispy Pearls, Mini Marshmallows, and White Chocolate Flames.At Wilderness Lodge, Roaring Fork quietly removed its Allergy-Friendly Mickey-shaped Waffles from the breakfast menu.Beach Club and Yacht Club ResortsBoth resorts swapped their standard Cinnamon Bun for a Mickey Cinnamon Roll at $7.99. Beach Club Marketplace added two new breakfast entrees: a Breakfast Flatbread with Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Gravy, Bacon, Sausage, Cheddar, and Chopped Scallions for $10.29, and a Bacon, Egg, and Cheddar Bagel Sandwich served with Breakfast Potatoes for $9.29. A plant-based Gourmet Oatmeal and Chicken Noodle Soup also joined the menu.The Market at Ale & Compass at Yacht Club added a Breakfast Wrap with Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes, Sautéed Onions and Peppers, and Cheddar for $9.29, plus a Chocolate Croissant for $5.29.Contemporary ResortContempo Cafe had one of the larger overhauls. Several items were removed from the plant-based, grab-and-go, bakery, and dessert sections. The Breakfast Tofu Bowl is gone, replaced by two new plant-based bagel sandwiches. Multiple croissant varieties were cut, replaced by a Blueberry Danish and a Chocolate-dipped Croissant at $5.29 each. On the dessert side, five items were removed and four new ones added, including a Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake Tart for $7.29 and a plant-based Cookies and Cream Mousse Trifle for $5.99.Saratoga Springs ResortThe Artist’s Palette received one of the most extensive updates of any single location this week. New additions include an Everything Bagel with Smoked Salmon for $10.29, a Chocolate-Hazelnut Latte for $5.79, and a Protein Pack with Egg, Cheddar, Swiss, Seasonal Berries, and Almonds for $7.49. The dessert section was significantly refreshed: items like the Milk & Cookies Cupcake, Cannoli, and Bears in Dirt were removed and replaced with a Cannoli Cupcake, Pistachio-Chocolate Cream Puff, Cookies and Cream Cheesecake, Pineapple-Coconut Cheesecake, and a Toasted Marshmallow Brownie, among others.The Backstretch Pool Bar added Cheeseburger Spring Rolls for $9.49 and two new cocktails: a Cold Fashioned with Woodford Reserve Bourbon for $18.50 and a Kiwi-Watermelon Spritz with Tito’s Vodka for $18.50. That same Kiwi-Watermelon Spritz also appeared at On The Rocks and Paddock Grill. Paddock Grill additionally added a Chicken-Bacon Waffle Cone with Sriracha Hot Honey for $10.29 and a Steak, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Wrap for $11.79.Port Orleans ResortsBoth French Quarter and Riverside received parallel menu updates across their food courts and pool bars. Standout additions at both Sassagoula Floatworks and Riverside Mill include a Four-Meat Pizza with Pepperoni, Ham, Bacon, and Sausage available on select evenings for $22.99, a Cajun Chicken Salad for $11.99, a Honey Mustard Chicken Wrap for $12.99, and a Plant-based Greek Style Pita with Impossible Beef for $13.29.The dessert selections at both locations were nearly entirely replaced. Gone are multiple cheesecake varieties. In their place are Assorted Macarons for $8.29, an S’mores Chocolate-Marshmallow Tart for $6.49, a Cookie Butter Cheesecake for $6.29, a Mickey-shaped Peanut Butter Brownie for $5.99, and Big Easy Custard, a Beignet Custard with Creamy Pecan Praline for $4.99. The bakery sections also refreshed completely, with a Chocolate-Marshmallow-Hazelnut Croissant among the new arrivals at $6.49.The charcuterie board description at both Mardi Grogs and Muddy Rivers pool bars changed from a more elevated Andouille and Gruyère lineup to a simpler Cubed Cheese, Salami, Ham, Grapes, Tomatoes, and Olives build.Other Notable UpdatesCredit: Inside The Magic / FlickrAt Disney’s Coronado Springs, El Mercado de Coronado added Fresh Start Oats, a warm creamy oatmeal customizable with toppings including House-made Apple Compote, Fresh Blueberries, Crunchy Granola, Brown Sugar, or Golden Raisins for $9.Disney Springs got something fun at Amorette’s Patisserie: a Mickey and Minnie Cookie Art kit with Edible Watercolor Paints. It includes a Mickey Cookie, a Minnie Cookie, a Painter’s Palette Cookie, Paint Brushes, and Water to activate the paints for $19. It is the kind of activity item that works well for kids and is genuinely one of the more creative limited-time offerings to show up at Disney Springs in a while.What This Means for Your Disney VacationCredit: DisneyA menu update sweep this broad touches nearly every resort category and several park locations simultaneously, which means no matter where you are staying or eating during your trip, something on this list probably applies to you.If you were counting on a specific item that is now gone, like the Brisket Eggs Benedict at Trail’s End, the Plant-based Gyro at Artist’s Palette, or the classic Cinnamon Bun at Beach Club or Yacht Club, it is worth updating your mental itinerary before you arrive. Showing up expecting something that is no longer on the menu is one of those small disappointments that is entirely avoidable with a little advance research.On the other side, several of the new additions look genuinely worth going out of your way for.
