KTR is mortgaging the future of Telangana’s youth for politics: MP Vamsi Krishna - The HinduUpdated - June 01, 2026 09:08 pm IST - HYDERABADPeddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna charged BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao with playing petty politics and mortgaging the future of Telangana’s youth.Speaking after inaugurating the newly built Indiramma Indlu houses at Kotapalli in Mancherial district on Monday, the MP said neither the BJP nor the BRS is genuinely concerned about the welfare and future of the State’s children. He described Mr. Rama Rao as the ‘biggest coward’ in the State.He referred to a recent video where Mr. Rama Rao reportedly told someone that a person is not a true leader unless they have at least 30 police cases registered against them. “Is this Mr. Rama Rao’s vision for Telangana’s youth? He wants our children to get entangled in false cases, languish in jails, while he roams around in luxury cars”? the MP asked.In contrast, the Congress government is focussing on skilling the youth. “Currently, 65 ATC (Advanced Training Centres) are operational across the State. The government is working to establish another 65 new ATC centres so that the youth can receive high-quality training in modern technologies, Artificial Intelligence, vocational skills and secure better employment opportunities,” he said.Published - June 01, 2026 09:06 pm ISTSign in to unlock member-only benefits!Access 10 free stories every monthSave stories to read laterAccess to comment on every storySign-up/manage your newsletter subscriptions with a single clickGet notified by email for early access to discounts & offers on our products${ ind + 1 } ${ device }Last active - ${ la }
