I knew that surgery was gonna mess with my hormones, because they had to take an endometrioma off one of my ovaries & I got diagnosed with stage III endo with DIE. But jfc I have felt like I'm on a rollercoaster since my surgery. I got my first period a day after my surgery, and have had two more since then. The hormonal fluctuations from the excision have made my Pmdd go off the rails and I have spent a good amount of time since my surgery depressed/paranoid/anxious and hating everything and everyone. The worst part is I can't take SSRIs or birth control due to the side effects I've had from both, so I just get to raw dog this shit and hope it passes.
