At only 201 grams, the Fold 8 Wide is heavier than the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (188g) and lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (215g) or the Galaxy S26 Ultra (214g).Interestingly, the source also claims that Apple's first foldable phone, the so-called iPhone Ultra, is guaranteed to outweigh Samsung's device in the most literal sense.Given the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide's unusually wide aspect ratio, its relatively lightweight body could make it easier to handle, which should work in its favor.
