I’ve been having symptoms for a while now, I decided to go get checked and my reports concluded: Findings related to endometriosis Diffuse adenomyosis. Mild thickening of the uterosacral ligaments at their origin, with a nonspecific thickness of 3.5 mm. Both ovaries are adherent to the pelvic walls. Thickening at the origin of the left uterosacral ligament. Free fluid in the anterior and posterior cul-de-sac (pouch of Douglas), with thin, lax interposed adhesions. (This is translated, hope it can ve understandable) I’m no doctor, but I was told my pain was normal and that I should just ignore what’s written right there alongside with my symptoms. I know it’s nothing severe, my organs are still healthy, but I want to know if it’s worth checking a second option, cause I honestly felt so hopeless to hear that I’m “100% healthy”. I should be happy about this, but the truth is that knowing I’ll have to go through that much pain every period for the rest of my life cause it’s “normal” just doesn’t add up to me. If anyone could please guide me with this I’d be so thankful. 🥀 submitted by /u/sombrakyuu [link] [comments]
